It is with great disappointment from everyone at the Rovers that Calum Griffin following a year long injury has taken the decision to depart the Rovers and take a break from football.

A great asset for the Rovers during his time here and never let his head go down during his recovery from a horrible injury on the opening day of last season.

Gutted to see Callum stop playing, I have seen him develop over the last number of years at Forth then with ourselves in to a cracking footballer. The knee injury last year in the opening game was a bad one and despite putting in the hard graft , he has decided that a permanent break from football is best next step.

Obviously Cal will be a big miss to the club but we wish him well in his journey- not only a good footballer but one of nice guys you could come across and hopefully he wouldn’t be a stranger to the place.

All the best Cal, I’m sure football’s lose will be golf’s gain.

Everyone at the Rovers would like to wish Calum All the best for the future and hopefully see him around at a few games.
