I first heard of Rovers’ interest at the end of last season and had a good chat with Div about my plans going forward. I’d spent the last two seasons at Rossvale, so I already had a feel for the league.

From playing against Rovers during that time, I could see it was a very well-run club. After speaking with the coaches and manager, I’ve been really impressed with the set-up here. Everyone’s been very welcoming, and I’ve settled in well over the past couple of weeks, getting to know the squad.

I’m looking forward to the season ahead. I bring a bit of experience to the group, being a bit older than some of the boys, and having played in this league for the past two years, I know what to expect. I enjoy the hard work off the ball and don’t mind doing the dirty side of the game in midfield.

Michael is a player that has done well against us every time we have came across him in games.

We are delighted that he has decided to sign for us, as he had several options elsewhere, he is another player I think will do very well this season for us.
