Carluke Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of Eoin Wallace, yet another local Carluke boy, taking us to 6 Carluke lads in the squad.

Eoin is a goalkeeper and joins us from Lanark United.

I first heard about Rovers through a local friend, Ross Steele, who was already playing here. At the time, I was chasing game time, so the opportunity really appealed to me. I came along and couldn’t have asked for a better start—got on well with the boys, who were all really sound and gave me plenty of praise.

I played the first half in Saturday’s friendly against Blantyre Victoria. It was a good experience, even though I’m still getting to know everyone’s names. We got a decent result in the end.

I’m a solid, confident goalkeeper, and even at a young age, I believe I’ve got a lot to offer the Rovers. No extra pressure being a Carluke boy—just proud to be playing for my local team.

We are delighted to welcome Eoin to the club.

Great addition, we haven’t had a great deal of luck with some injuries in the goalkeeping department this preseason, Eoin has come into the group and done really well.
He impressed in our first pre season game and has made a great impression on the group.

I’m looking forward to working with him.

Welcome to the Rovers Eoin.
