He was well know for banging the goals in for the Rovers a good few seasons ago and the Committee and Management are delighted to officially welcome Stephen ‘Fergie’ Ferguson back to the club.

Fergie has joined as a coach to work alongside Div, Peter and the guys and his knowledge of the game will add to the team and help develop the players.

Thomas Devine said ‘We are thrilled to add Fergie to our management team. It was important for us to bring someone in who understands the club and its potential. He was a stand out candidate during the process and is already adding valuable experience to the group’

Fergie said ‘Delighted to return to the club where I enjoyed my time as a player, so when the opportunity came to return as a coach it was an easy decision.
The management and coaching team have built a strong squad of players over the past year or so and the club is heading in the right direction. I hope to be able to use my knowledge and experience in the game to help the club continue on the path we are on and be challenging at the top end of the table next season.
