Carluke Rovers are disappointed to announce that our senior team manager Mark Weir has resigned with immediate effect.

We would very much like to thank Mark for his time as manager, which was his first step into management. He was of course a fixture at the Rovers for 20 years during his playing days.

We were delighted when he took on the role at a very challenging time for the team. However, even though his team always played enjoyable football, the challenges of managing during a pandemic whilst his squad was decimated by injuries to key players ultimately influenced his decision to step away.

We wish Mark every success for the future.

His assistant manager, Kenny Neill, will continue in the role whilst the Committee consider how the club will move forward.
