Paul Davies has stepped aside as Manager of Carluke Rovers first team to take up the role of club General Manager.

The Committee wished to retain the services of Paul as first team manager however due to family and business commitments it’s been difficult for him to juggle both.

Club Secretary Steven Kane said, “Paul has done a great job in challenging circumstances. He came to us with a wealth of experience and along with other Committee members was instrumental in driving club licensing forward which saw the club enter the Scottish Senior cup for the first time in our history”.

Both Paul and the Committee didn’t want it to end there and he has agreed to become the clubs General Manager to oversee the football development side and implement plans going forward to help attract inbound investment to the club.

Existing coaches John Lennox and Billy McGhie will take up the baton and the club will move quickly to bring in an additional coach to work alongside them.
