We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of our former club physio, Eddie Costley.

Eddie was a larger-than-life character, always wearing a smile and brightening the day of everyone around him. He spent a number of seasons at Carluke Rovers, and his good humour and caring nature made him a friend to players, staff, and supporters alike.

Eddie’s impact went beyond Carluke Rovers, as he was widely known and respected throughout Scottish football. His passing is a tremendous loss to the football community, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Eddie’s family and friends at this very sad time.
