As Carluke Rovers continue to build for the future with a new strip, a new sponsor, and a host of new signings, we’re proud to announce the return of a familiar face and former club captain — Mark Cassidy.
Mark brings experience, leadership, and a deep connection to the club he once called home. After several years away, he returns as a seasoned player ready to support and guide our developing squad both on and off the pitch.
Despite having other offers, Mark has chosen to be part of the Rovers’ new era — and we couldn’t be happier to welcome him back.

Delighted to be back. Been made to feel at home from the moment I came back through the doors from everyone involved at the club.
Been really impressed with the strength and depth of the squad and looking forward to hopefully helping to take the rovers back up the leagues and competing where we should be.
When Mark became available, it was a no brainer for me.
Over the last few games he has been involved in, you see that hungry to win things still remains and I’m delighted to bring him back to the club.
He obviously has a strong affiliation with the club and the fact he sees this opportunity as chance to add to his previous successes at the club, is a great testament to where he thinks we are and the direction he sees us moving in.
