This is a weekend for the players to really enjoy and embrace the challenge it brings. It’s a really special occasion to be involved in the senior Scottish cup and one we hope to build on from our experiences last year.

The team couldn’t be coming into the game in better form but we know we face a tough challenge in the shape of Tynecastle FC.

Tynecastle like ourselves progressed to the first round proper last season and I’m sure they will be looking for the same outcome this season.

Like most weeks at the minute, we have a few injuries and knocks to deal with but the strength of the squad has been a real asset this season and hopefully we can do Carluke proud on Saturday.
