The management team and committee at Carluke Rovers are pleased to announce that Mikey Downs has agreed to extend his contract until the end of Season 25-26.

Assistant Manager Peter Kane said – “Without a doubt a massive boast for next season having Mikey back on board.

He missed a bit of preseason but he has really grow into an integral part of team.

Selfless in his work for the team, works himself into the ground week in and week out. The last month or so we are really starting to see the best of him, which is reflected in his recent goal return.

Massive player and massive re signing, which is just reflective in the direction the club are going”

Mikey said – “Delighted to sign on again for next year with Carluke after a tough start to the season both personally and as a team the boys have really turned it around and things are really starting to click at the club lots left to fight for this season and in year to come”
