Along with the West of Scotland Football League, Carluke Rovers FC will be joining with other clubs, Football Leagues and Associations taking part in a social media boycott from 3pm Friday 30th April until midnight on Monday 3rd May.

The boycott is taking place to highlight the abuse that can be anonymously sent via social media platforms with little or no preventative measures.

We demand that social media platforms take real proper actions in terms of accountability, filtering and ensuring as far as possible social media is a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.

When used in the correct manner social media provides a fantastic methods for discussion/communications between fans & clubs around the world. However, the current trend in sending abusive messages with no accountability must stop.
