Carluke Rovers are excited to announce the signing on Mikey Downs.

Mikey, previously of St Peter’s will join up with the squad during Pre-Season.

Coach Tony Boyce commented “Mikey played against us earlier in the season and really changed the game coming off the bench. He’s a strong physical player that will give us something different in the final third. Great character and someone who takes his football seriously. A great addition to the team”

Mikey, who had spent the majority of last season at Kilsyth Athletic and a brief spell at St Peter’s added “Really happy to be signing with Carluke Rovers for next season after meeting up with the guys and hearing the ambition for the club ahead of next season. From the few people around the club I have spoken to so far it is clear the objective is getting Carluke back where they belong up the leagues and bring success back to the club. I hope to play a big part in that working with the manager, coaches and all the boys. Looking forward to getting started and hitting the ground running.”
