Match Report

Carluke Rovers travelled to Lockerbie for their final planned pre-season warm up against Mid Annandale.

Carluke started well in this match and scoring was opened with an unstoppable header by Steven Frame.

Carluke should have went 2 ahead as the Mid Annandale keeper was judged to foul Dillon Duddy in the box as he broke through, no one was getting the ball from Duddy as he stepped up to take the penalty. A poorly hit penalty seen the Mid Annandale keeper easily save.

It remained 1-0 to the Rovers until half time.

The Rovers came out in the second half and effectively finished the game off as the scored 2 quick goals from Frame and Smith to go 3 ahead.

Frame was to hit his hat trick to go 4 ahead before a consolation goal was scored by Mid Annandale.

The scoring was not finished as Frame had an easy finish for his 4th.

James Frame finished off the scoring with an excellent solo run and slotted the ball past the keeper.

A good day out for the Rovers travelling support and a fine 6-1 victory.
