Though Carluke Rovers have a break this weekend, the following three weeks are packed with action as they face massive cup challenges!
Saturday 21st September – Scottish Junior Cup
The Rovers hit the road for a thrilling clash at Newlandsfield Park against Pollok, a formidable side from the WOSFL Premier Division. Pollok, with a history of Scottish Junior Cup triumphs and currently holding strong mid-table in the Premier Division, will provide a tough contest for the Rovers.
Saturday 28th September – Scottish Cup
Fresh off a fantastic 2-0 victory over Golspie Sutherland in Prelim Round 2, Carluke Rovers embark on another northern adventure to Victoria Park to take on Buckie Thistle. Buckie reached Round 4 of last year’s Scottish Cup before falling to Celtic at Parkhead. This promises to be another intense test for the Rovers and they will need to be at their best for this challenge!
Saturday 5th October – West of Scotland Cup
Cup fever continues at home as Glasgow University from WOSFL Division 3 visit the John Cumming Stadium for Round 1 of the West of Scotland Cup. While the Uni team sits lower in Division 3, they’ll be eager to make their mark. The Rovers will need to be at their best to secure victory and keep their cup dream alive.
The next three weeks promise excitement, drama, and football at its finest for Carluke Rovers!
