Match Report

Match Day 4 of the pre-season Breathing Space Cup seen league leaders Bellshill Athletic come to the John Cumming Stadium.

Previous management team and several former Rovers player lined up for Bellshill looking to consolidate their league position and finish off Carluke’s challenge on the cup.

It started poorly for Rovers as the referee missed an offside decision allowing Bellshill to take a lead in the opening minutes. Rovers captain booked for his disagreement with the referee.

Cassidys yellow card in first half came back to haunt the Rovers as he received a second yellow for a challenge which meant he had to go off.

The Rovers manager took the opportunity to make several changes but Rovers lost another 2 goals.
