Rovers had a good share of the first half trading chances with their opponents with the best of these falling to Ryan Smillie in 13 mins after good work by Scott Burns on the right set him up in front of goal but a good save from Stark in the Rochs goal kept him out.
Carluke saw their defence put under pressure on a couple of occasions early on and had Jonny Grier to thank for keeping them level when he brought off two fine stops.
The best chance of the half for the home side came when Ian Watt set Chick McCole free and a driving run saw him charge in to the visitors box but instead of shooting he tried to lay the ball across goal and the chance was lost this coming close after a Davy Gray headed effort over the bar.
As is the usual case these missed chances came back to haunt Rovers when a challenge on the edge of their penalty area saw the ball fall kindly for Musa who slotted home for 1-0 to Rochs after 39 min.
The second goal came in stoppage time in the first half when McCole gave away a penalty and was also ordered off, Logan scored the penalty and this gave a 2-0 lead to the visitors at half time.
The second half saw Rovers fail to steady the ship and they lost a goal to a Sweeney free kick in 48 mins and another from a low placed corner to Maguire in 50 to make their task almost impossible.
The scoring was rounded of in the 65th min when a slack pass back from Jamie Dickson set McCluskey free and he slotted past Grier for 5-0.
It took until 83 mins for Carluke to pose a threat on the Rochs goal when Smillie played in Liam Thomson but his effort was saved, this was followed by a Watt shot in 86 mins but this was also dealt with by the visiting keeper to complete a miserable afternoon for the home side.
